Open positions: 1-2 PhD students
We are looking for 1-2 PhD students for the Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME) program at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, AZ.
The current positions are in the areas of advanced manufacturing of multifunctional graphene-metal composite structures. Candidates with a strong MSE, ME, or other relevant background are encouraged to apply. The PhD positions will begin either in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025.
This project is being supported by the prestigious National Science Foundation Career Award and successful candidates will have unique opportunities to interact with collaborators at ASU, the Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials (KIMM), and US Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). Candidates who are interested in developing his/her future career at the US or Korea national laboratories are encouraged to apply.
